Return Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Clikr is a digital product sold by Mawal AB through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all orders. This policy explains your right to a refund on a paid purchase of Clikr Pro, how to request one, and how refunds are handled.
Your 14-day right to a refund
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. This applies to the one-time payment for Clikr Pro. Clikr Pro is a one-time purchase, so there are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and nothing to renew or cancel.
Within the 14-day window the refund is the full original charge, regardless of how much you have used Clikr Pro. After 14 days the voluntary refund described in this policy is no longer available. The refund is available once per customer and covers your first eligible purchase. Your statutory rights as a consumer are separate and are described below.
Free trial
Clikr offers a 14-day Pro free trial. The trial does not require a card and is not a charge, so there is nothing to refund for the trial period itself. You can cancel during the trial to avoid any charge.
The 14-day refund window described above starts at your first paid purchase of Clikr Pro, not at the date you started the trial. You will receive an order confirmation from Paddle at the time of that purchase.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@clikr.app. Send the request from the email address used at checkout and include your Paddle order reference if you have it. You can also contact Paddle directly using the support link on your order confirmation or at paddle.com/help.
How refunds are processed
Mawal AB assesses each request against this policy. Where a request is eligible, Paddle issues the refund to the original payment method as Merchant of Record. Refunds are normally processed within 14 days of approval, typically within 5 to 10 business days.
Refunds include any VAT, sales tax, or equivalent that was charged on the original transaction. You are refunded the full inclusive amount. Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency at the original transaction amount, so you bear no foreign-exchange exposure from the refund itself. If your bank or card issuer applies its own exchange rate or fees, that is a matter between you and your bank.
What happens after a refund
Once a refund is issued, your account reverts to the free plan and Pro features are no longer available.
Payments and Merchant of Record
Payments for Clikr Pro are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for all orders. The specific Paddle entity is shown at checkout and on your order confirmation. Paddle issues refunds to the original payment method on our behalf. For payment-related questions you can contact Paddle directly at paddle.com/help.
EU and UK statutory withdrawal rights
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you normally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). Consumers in the United Kingdom have an equivalent right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For digital content supplied immediately, that right of withdrawal can end before the 14 days are over. Three things have to happen for it to end:
- At checkout you give your express prior consent for Clikr Pro to be made available to you immediately, before the withdrawal period ends.
- You acknowledge that, by asking for immediate access, you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and the equivalent UK regulations) for digital content that has already been supplied.
- That consent and acknowledgment are recorded in the order confirmation email Paddle sends you, which serves as confirmation of the contract on a durable medium under Article 8(7) of the Directive.
Regardless of how the statutory withdrawal right applies to your purchase, the voluntary 14-day refund described in this policy still applies, so you can request a full refund within 14 days either way.
This policy does not limit your statutory rights
The voluntary refund described in this policy is in addition to and does not limit your mandatory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and equivalent consumer protection laws in your country or state. Where statutory rights give you a stronger or longer remedy than this policy, the statutory remedy applies.
Refund abuse
We reserve the right to refuse refund requests where there is objective evidence of abuse, including repeated refund requests across multiple accounts associated with the same person or payment method, or fraudulent payment activity. Statutory consumer rights are not affected by this clause.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a purchase, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly. If a chargeback is filed with your bank or card issuer before you contact us, access to Pro features may be suspended while the dispute is investigated.
Complaints and dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a refund request, you may have additional options under your local consumer protection laws:
- If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you can use the European Commission's directory of consumer dispute resolution bodies at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies to find a body in your country.
- If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you can contact your local Citizens Advice service or the relevant alternative dispute resolution scheme.
- If you are a consumer in the United States, you can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov or with your state attorney general.
- If you are in another jurisdiction, please contact your national consumer protection authority.
For any complaint, you can also reach us first by email at hello@clikr.app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. If we make a material change, we will tell you by email or through a prominent notice on the site before it takes effect.
