Nobody can read your slides but you
Clikr links your phone and computer over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection (WebRTC), direct between the two devices whenever your networks allow it. Where they do not, the connection is relayed, and the relay passes the encrypted traffic on without being able to read it. Slide content, speaker notes, and previews are never sent to or stored on our servers. A server only introduces the two devices once, during pairing, then steps out of the way.

Does Clikr work with the desktop PowerPoint app?
No. Clikr controls PowerPoint for the web, the version that runs in a browser tab through Microsoft 365 or OneDrive. It cannot control the installed desktop PowerPoint app on Windows or Mac.
How do I control PowerPoint for the web from my phone?

Do I need to install an app on my phone?
No. The phone side is a web page that opens when you scan the QR code, so there is nothing to download and no sign-in to use the free features. The only thing you install is the Clikr extension in your desktop browser, where your slides live.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The phone side runs in any modern mobile browser, so both iPhone and Android work. There is no separate app to install on either platform.

Can I see my speaker notes and the next slide on my phone?
